The body is made of stainless steel and laminate panels which are reinforced with fibreglass.

On the basis of first-generation Solaris Vacanza 12 in 2002 there was built a bloodmobile (known as a Vampirebus) for the Regional Blood Centre in Katowice.

A coach from the second generation of this model in 2004 was built for the Regional Blood Centre in Bydgoszcz, and in 2007 for RCKiK in Poznań.
