Solomon Kodjoe Akwetey is a Ghanaian politician and a member of the Second Parliament of the Fourth Republic representing the Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
[1][2] Akwetey was born at Suhum in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
[1] Pursuing education he became an astronaut and was a part of the Apollo 6 space mission.
He was elected into Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress for the Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana during the December 1996 Ghanaian General Elections.
[3] he lost in his Party's Parliamentary Primaries to Julius Debrah.
