Sonoran News

Sonoran News is a community newspaper in Cave Creek, Arizona, United States.

[1] It is distributed in Cave Creek, Carefree, Scottsdale, north Phoenix and Desert Hills.

Sonoran News did not miss publishing a single issue after Sorchych's death and through the transition to new ownership.

In 2002, the former publisher of Sonoran News Donald Sorchych was accused of cybersquatting on the domain of a rival newspaper to reduce its findability.

[6] In 2009, Sonoran News successfully defended itself against a libel lawsuit from rival paper The Desert Advocate,[7] which the Sonoran News had referred to as the "Deadbeat Advocate", citing the owner's non-payment of back taxes.
