Southern Railways (Ukraine)

The Southern Railways (SR) (Ukrainian: Південна залізниця, Russian: Южная железная дорога) is a composing part of Ukraine's Ukrzaliznytsia railroad company and is headquartered in Kharkiv.

As of 2008, the Southern Railways operate 3,000 kilometres (1,864 mi) of track.

The company traces its history to the Kursk-Kharkiv-Azov railways that was established in 1869.
