Sparkman, Arkansas

Sparkman is a city in Dallas County, Arkansas, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Sparkman has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), all land.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.

There were 291 housing units at an average density of 224.2 per square mile (86.6/km2).

27.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

They compete at the 1A level in girls and boys basketball, baseball, and softball.

They were very competitive for many years in which they played in state playoff games, sometimes with only 16 players.
