The Clarion River crosses the township from east to west.

27.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 2.8% of families and 4.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 6.4% of those under the age of eighteen and 4.8% of those sixty five or over.
