Spring Village, Shropshire

Spring Village is a location in the Telford and Wrekin borough in Shropshire, England.

[3][failed verification] The village was first mentioned in 1754 and 1757 when it was associated with the Horsehay Ironworks.

[4][failed verification] It later developed around the Industrial Revolution and the-then new town of Telford in the 1960s and 1970s.

[5][failed verification] It once had its own chapel but this closed in 1968 and it is also home to the Telford Steam Railway, which also has a station named Spring Village.
