Canton (/ˈkæntən/ KAN-tən)[3] is a town in Buffalo County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

[4] As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 304 people, 102 households, and 88 families residing in the town.

The racial makeup of the town was 98.36% White, 0.33% African American, 0.33% Asian, and 0.99% from two or more races.

11.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 9.2% of families and 7.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.0% of those under the age of eighteen and 6.9% of those 65 or over.
