The unincorporated community of Mandus is located within Spruce Township.

The racial makeup of the township was 98.05% White, 0.16% African American, 0.81% Asian, and 0.98% from two or more races.

There were 222 households, out of which 45.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.2% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.9% were non-families.
