Srednja Vas (pronounced [ˈsɾeːdnja ˈʋaːs], Slovene: Srednja vas, German: Srednawaß[3]) is a former village in central Slovenia in the Municipality of Škofljica.
[1][2] It is connected by road to Daljna Vas to the west, Orle to the northeast, and Sela pri Rudniku to the east.
To the north the land is forested, especially with chestnut trees, and the woods contain blueberries and mushrooms that the locals traditionally gathered to sell.
[2] The name Srednja vas literally means 'middle village'.
The remainder of Srednja Vas was annexed by Lavrica in 1983, ending its existence as a separate settlement.
