[6] St. John the Baptist Catholic Church is a Late Gothic Revival building, constructed of red brick on a stone and reinforced-concrete foundation.
[2] The church has a gable roof, a square tower projecting from the facade, and a rectangular wing to the east.
The water table, window sills, and hood moldings are constructed from concrete, while other decorative elements are made from galvanized iron.
The center section contains a Tudor-arch double door entrance, above which is a low, three-sided, pointed-arch window.
[2] Inside, the central front entrance leads into a terrazzo-floored narthex; from there, there are three doors into the nave.
