St Cuthbert's Church, Darwen

It has been designated a Grade II listed building by English Heritage.

St Cuthbert's was built 1875–1878 to a design by Lancaster architecture firm Paley and Austin.

[1] English Heritage designated the church a Grade II listed building on 27 September 1984.

[2] The Grade II designation—the lowest of the three grades—is for buildings that are "nationally important and of special interest".

[1] In 1877 the organ was brought from the parish church at Kendal; the casework is by Bernard Smith.
