Staffelbach

Staffelbach is a municipality in the district of Zofingen in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.

Staffelbach has an area, as of 2009[update], of 8.94 square kilometers (3.45 sq mi).

Of the rest of the land, 0.63 km2 (0.24 sq mi) or 7.0% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.05 km2 (12 acres) or 0.6% is either rivers or lakes.

[3] The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Azure a Bridge Argent masoned above two barrulets wavy in base and in chief a Mullet of the same.

Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (96.6%), with Italian being second most common ( 0.9%) and Serbo-Croatian being third ( 0.8%).

[7] The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Staffelbach is; 98 children or 9.4% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 148 teenagers or 14.2% are between 10 and 19.

[7] From the 2000 census[update], 165 or 16.9% were Roman Catholic, while 678 or 69.3% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
