Steel Valley Elementary School is under construction and planned to open in August 2026 and it will replace the 2 current Elementary Schools Notable landmarks within the district include the site of the Homestead Strike, The Waterfront shopping complex, Sandcastle Waterpark, and the headquarters of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit.
