Stefan Eck

Stefan Eck is a German politician, who, since 2014, represented Germany in the European Parliament until 2019.

He sat as an Independent in the European United Left–Nordic Green Left group.

[2] In the European Parliament, he was vice president of the Intergroup on Animal Welfare and Conservation[3] and a full member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety.

He was also a substitute member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development and the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality and Delegations for relations with the People's Republic of China, the countries of South Asia, the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian States and for relations with the Korean Peninsula.

His main activities include animal and human rights as well as environmental protection.
