Stefan Kudelski

Stefan Kudelski (27 August 1931 – 26 January 2013)[1] was a Polish audio engineer known for creating the Nagra series of professional audio recorders.

Stefan Kudelski was born in Warsaw into a family with engineering background.

When the Germans occupied southern Vichy France, the family escaped to Switzerland in 1943.

He studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and constructed his first tape recorder there, as a student project.
