Stephen T. Logan

Stephen Trigg Logan (February 24, 1800 – July 17, 1880) was an American lawyer and politician.

[2] Logan's son, David was a politician in Oregon, serving as mayor of Portland.

[3] Stephen Trigg Logan was a close friend and associate of Illinois industrialists and financiers Jacob Bunn and John Whitfield Bunn, who, at Logan's suggestion, helped Logan and others fund the 1860 presidential campaign of Abraham Lincoln.

His daughter Sally was the second wife of Ward Hill Lamon, another former Lincoln law partner who later served as his primary bodyguard during the Civil War.
