Steve Korcheck

A catcher, he appeared in 58 games over four seasons (1954–1955; 1958–59) for the Washington Senators of Major League Baseball.

Korcheck batted and threw right-handed, stood 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) tall and weighed 205 pounds (93 kg).

Drafted by the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League in 1954 (third round, 35th overall selection), he chose a career in baseball instead.
