Several ministries (and with them their future tasks) were changed in the new coalition program relative to the previous Nehammer government.

Therefore, the Federal Ministerial Law has to be changed and the new ministries and tasks established.

Once the amended Federal Ministerial Law takes effect on 1 April 2025, the affected ministers will have to be sworn in again to their new ministries and tasks by President Alexander Van der Bellen.
