Stormy Crossing (U.S. title: Black Tide [1]) is a 1958 British second feature ('B')[2] crime, drama, thriller, mystery film directed by C. M. Pennington-Richards and starring John Ireland, Derek Bond, Leslie Dwyer, and Maureen Connell.

His swimming coach is initially doubtful, but when he realizes he has been deliberately lied to, he investigates and brings the villain to justice.
The Monthly Film Bulletin wrote: "The Channel racing background, intended to give some freshness to a tired story, eventually deprives this melodrama of much of its plausibility.
Seymour's motives are never made convincing, and coincidence is stretched to the limit in the clues which lead to his being unmasked.
