Stoulton or Stoughton[1] is a village and civil parish about 5 miles south west of Worcester,[2] in the Wychavon district, in the county of Worcestershire, England.
[4] The parish touches Norton-juxta-Kempsey, Whittington, Peopleton, Drakes Broughton, Wadborough and White Ladies Aston.
[6] The scientist and cleric William Derham, the first man to accurately measure the speed of sound, was born in Stoulton in 1657.
[8] Stoulton railway station opened in 1854 and closed in 1966 although it was in the parish of Drakes Broughton and Wadborough.
[10] Upper Wolverton was a village in the parish that is thought to have been depopulated before 1550, the site currently has 2 farms.
