Sui Mingtai

Sui Mingtai (Chinese: 隋明太; pinyin: Suí Míngtài; born September 1942) is a general in the People's Liberation Army of China.

He was a member of the 15th and 16th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.

He enlisted in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in August 1960, and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in July 1962.

In November 1997, he was promoted to become political commissar of the PLA Second Artillery Corps, a position he held until December 2003, when he was chosen as political commissar of the People's Armed Police.
