Suleika Ibáñez Iglesias (8 December 1930 – 7 March 2013) was a Uruguayan writer, teacher, and translator.
Her siblings were the writers Ulalume González de León [es] and Solveig Ibáñez.
[3][4] She taught literature in Lavalleja Department, in Melo, at the Instituto de Profesores Artigas [es] (IPA), and at the Catholic University of Uruguay.
[5] In 1989, the Departmental Intendency of Montevideo [es] awarded her two first prizes in poetry and narrative.
[5] In 2010, she received the Cultural Career Award, during the Poets of the Two Shores Congress in Punta del Este, from the publishing house Botella al Mar.
