Yamanaka made her professional boxing debut on 13 December 2020, scoring a unanimous decision win over Arika Shimono at Edion Arena in Osaka.
[3] She won the vacant WBO Asia Pacific 102-pound belt by stopping Honoka Kano in the fifth round of their bout at Tokyo's Korakuen Hall on 1 September 2022.
[4] On 12 January 2024, Yamanaka captured the IBF female atomweight World title with a unanimous decision success against defending champion Mika Iwakawa also at Korakuen Hall.
