The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway (traditional Chinese: 日月潭纜車; simplified Chinese: 日月潭缆车; pinyin: Rìyuètán Lǎnchē) is a gondola lift in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan.

On 14 December 2009, it passed the inspection of Nantou County Government.

[4] The gondola consists of red, yellow and blue colors, which represent the sun, moon and lake respectively.

[2] It has a total of 86 cars with maximum carrying capacity of 3,000 passengers per hour.

It is also equipped with high extension detection device to automatically adjust its cable tension.
