Sunusi Musa

Sunusi Musa, SAN (born 1978) is a Nigerian human rights activist, lawyer, and politician.

Musa was also a member of the legal team that represented the victims of the Apo shootings, securing judgments against the Nigerian government at the Community Court of ECOWAS in 2013 and the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory.

[1] In 2022, Musa was confirmed as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), along with 60 other lawyers.

In 2018, he led the Nigeria Consolidation Ambassadors Network in raising N50 million to procure the nomination form for former President Muhammadu Buhari's run for office on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 elections.

[2][3] He has also served as counsel to the APC and the Kano APC governorship elections, which led to the victory of the party's governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, at the election petition tribunal.
