Supreme Prosecutors Office

The Supreme Prosecutors Office (traditional Chinese: 最高檢察署; simplified Chinese: 最高检察署; pinyin: Zuìgāo Fǎyuàn Jiǎnchá Shǔ; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Chòe-ko Kiám-chhat Sú) is the highest prosecution authority in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The position is appointed by the president, and must be confirmed by the Legislative Yuan.

Notably, the prosecutor general has the exclusive authority to file extraordinary appeals.

The office is accessible within walking distance South of Ximen Station or North of Xiaonanmen Station of the Taipei Metro.
