Susan Rasky (June 10, 1952 – December 29, 2013) was an American university educator and political journalist for the New York Times.
Susan Rasky was born in 1952 in Hollywood, California[1] to Jewish, liberal parents.
[1] She was raised in Baldwin Hills, Los Angeles and attended high school in the Fairfax District.
She continued to write for Reuters, and was hired as a columnist and contributing editor for The California Journal.
[3] In 1991,[3] Rasky was a joint recipient of a George Polk Award for her coverage of the budget debates in 1990.
