Susan Twist (born 6 June 1956[1][2]) is a British actress best known as Rosie Banks in Brookside (1994–1996) and as Susan Triad and other characters throughout the 60th Anniversary Specials, series 14 and series 15 of Doctor Who (2023–2025).
[4] Twist has appeared in various episodes of Doctors, In the Flesh, Coronation Street and The Archers.
[5] On stage, she has appeared in productions of The Three Musketeers, Prize Night, Jack Flash and The Taming of the Shrew.
[5] In 2023, she appeared in the second 60th anniversary episode of Doctor Who, "Wild Blue Yonder", playing Mrs Merridew, Isaac Newton's maid.
She then appeared in the 2023 Christmas special, "The Church on Ruby Road", where she played a different character, now a woman in the crowd of a concert.
