Swiss Italian broadcaster Televisione svizzera di lingua italiana (TSI) was in charge of staging and broadcasting the selection for the Swiss entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 1984.

It held the national final at its studios in Lugano, hosted by Ezio Guidi and Natascha Giller.

The national final was broadcast on TV DRS (with commentary by Max Rüeger [de]), TSR (with commentary by Serge Moisson [fr]) and on TSI.
