Sydney Alpha Ensemble is an Australian contemporary music ensemble.
[1][2][3] In October 1996 and February 1997 they, along with Georges Lentz and Stephanie McCallum, recorded a series of compositions by Elena Kats-Chernin.
The recordings, conducted by David Stanhope, were released as an album, Clocks in 1997 by ABC Classics.
It received a nomination at the 1998 ARIA Music Awards for Best Classical Album.
