Syed Haidar Ali (Bengali: সৈয়দ হায়দার আলী; died 3 January 2013) was a Bangladeshi politician, businessman and freedom fighter.
[1] Syed Haidar Ali was born in c. 1933 as the youngest son of Syed Akbar Ali, in Sirajganj, then part of the Pabna District.
Ali belonged to a Bengali Muslim family of Syeds.
His son-in-law, Syed Shahed Reza, was the Bangladeshi Ambassador to Kuwait.
