T. J. Collins

Thomas Jasper Collins (August 2, 1844 - October 6, 1925),[1] commonly known as T. J. Collins, was an American architect.

He served in the Union Army during the American Civil War and later became an architect, practicing first in Washington, D.C., before moving to Staunton, Virginia in 1890.

[3] He is credited with the design of numerous courthouses in Virginia and over 200 buildings in Staunton from 1891 to 1911.

[5] A number of Collins' and the firm's works are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
