Lieutenant General Tadesse Werede Tesfay (Tigrinya: ታደሰ ወረደ (ወዲ ወረደ)) is Commander-in Chief of the Tigray Defense Forces.

He was born in Mekelle, a city in Enderta woreda of the Tigray Region.
