Tahafa Pope Talagi (died July 1984) was a Niuean politician.
In 1950 he joined the new London Missionary Society school as assistant to the headteacher.
[1] He later joined the civil service to work for the broadcasting department, becoming editor of Tohi Tala Niue weekly paper and a government information officer.
[4] He returned to education, becoming headmaster of Matalave Primary School, and was also elected chairman of Tuapa village council.
Despite being away from the island, he received the highest number of votes on the common roll.
