Tainter Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in part of the Town of Tainter, Dunn County, Wisconsin, and part of the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn County, Wisconsin, United States.
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 2,089 people, 846 households, and 631 families residing in the CDP.
There were 1,002 housing units at an average density of 53.8/sq mi (20.8/km2).
There were 846 households, out of which 29.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.9% were married couples living together, 4.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.3% were non-families.
19.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
