Tamio Abe (29 September 1902 – 30 December 1987) was a Japanese tennis player.
[2] Abe, the 1927 All-Japan singles champion, debuted for the Japan Davis Cup team in 1928.
He featured in the Davis Cup for the final time as a player in 1930 but returned as non playing captain in 1938 .
[4] A graduate of Waseda University, Abe had a career as an academic in the field of philosophy.
