Tanya Cook (born November 9, 1964, in Agana, Guam) is a politician from the U.S. state of Nebraska.
During her first term, from 2009 to 2013, she served at various times on the General Affairs, Natural Resources, State-Tribal Relations, Urban Affairs, and Health and Human Services Committees, and was Vice Chair of the Business and Labor Committee from 2011 to 2012.
Along with Brenda Council of the 11th legislative district, she was one of the first black women elected to the Nebraska Legislature.
Cook is the President of City Girl Communications, a public relations consulting firm.
