Tanya J. Bradsher is an American government official and retired military officer who served as the United States Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs from 2023 to 2025.
[2] Bradsher enlisted in the United States Army in 1993 and was commissioned in the Officer Candidate School in 1994.
During her 20 years of active duty, Bradsher was assigned to the United States National Security Council and Office of the Secretary of Defense.
[3] After retiring from the Army, Bradsher returned to the National Security Council and served as an advisor in the Executive Office of the President.
In 2021, Bradhser was selected by Secretary Denis McDonough as chief of staff of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
