Tarail (Bengali: তারাইল) is an upazila of Kishoreganj District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

According to the 2011 Census of Bangladesh, Tarail Upazila had 34,592 households and a population of 159,739.

Tarail had a literacy rate (age 7 and over) of 35.72%, compared to the national average of 51.8%, and a sex ratio of 1017 females per 1000 males.

The union parishads are subdivided into 75 mauzas and 116 villages.
