Tarrant Rushton

Tarrant Rushton is a village and civil parish in north Dorset, England.

The village is situated in the Tarrant Valley about three miles (five kilometres) east of Blandford Forum.

The ancient church of St Mary is built of flint and stone and parts of it date from Norman times.

At one time there was a hospital or charity in the parish dedicated to St Leonard.

It was built during World War II, during which it played a vital role, and remained in use until 1980.
