Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbek: Toshkent Davlat Iqtisodiyot Universiteti , Тошкент Давлат Иқтисодиёт Университети) is one of the largest business schools in Central Asia.

TSEU was the first American-style business school in Uzbekistan.

It maintains ties with notable universities in the US, Great Britain, and Germany and houses the largest university library in Central Asia.

Moreover, there arose the need for the systematic solution of the problem related to the lack of economic degree holders, which gained a significant importance.
