It runs 7.1 kilometres (4.4 mi) between Környe and Oroszlány, in Komárom-Esztergom County.

The line connects with the Tatabánya–Pápa railway line at Környe and handles passenger trains between Tatabánya and Oroszlány.

Hungarian State Railways owns and operates the line.
