Her work for health reform and emphasis on a vegetarian lifestyle is seen as the cause of the city of Loma Linda being named by researcher Dan Buettner a Blue Zone where residents live for longer lives than the average lifespan.

To be qualified to educate the youth, parents and teachers must have self-control, gentleness and love.
In order to attain this object, the physical, mental, moral, and religious education of children must have attention.
