[2] The Fly Roller was designed to comply with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale microlight category and the U.S. FAR 103 Ultralight Vehicles rules.
It features a parachute-style wing, single-place accommodation, tricycle landing gear and a single 20 hp (15 kW) JPX D-320 engine in pusher configuration.
[1] The aircraft carriage is a simple frame design, built from steel tubing.
In flight steering is accomplished via handles that actuate the canopy brakes, creating roll and yaw.
[1] The designer, Pierre Allet, flew an example of the Fly Roller across the Mediterranean Sea.
