Teodor Betting (1827–1892), was a German piano maker's son and student, and the founder of the piano manufacturer SCHIRMER & SON.
Betting was born in Emmerich, Rhineland, Kingdom of Prussia.
He worked with Julius Ferdinand Blüthner in Leipzig, ED.
