The Hideout is a private community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lake and Salem Townships in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, United States.

The community's population was 3,013 at the time of the 2010 United States Census.

There were 1,325 households, out of which 19.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.8% were married couples living together, 7.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.9% were non-families.
