The Marlow Murder Club (TV series)

The Marlow Murder Club is a British cosy mystery television series based on Robert Thorogood's novel of the same name.

[3] Three women (led by Judith Potts) investigate a series of killings in Marlow, Buckinghamshire (where Thorogood now lives with his family).

They suspect a woman rower – until she is also killed and like the first two murders is left with a possibly Masonic medallion on her.

The murderers are three men, who kill on behalf of one of the other two – while ensuring that the man with a motive to dispose of the victim has a watertight alibi (like Patricia Highsmith's Strangers on a Train).

Two more seasons with the same characters have been commissioned, to be written by Lucia Haynes (Vera) and Julia Gilbert (Midsomer Murders).
