Peter Pyke (Toowoomba North) was elected as the ALP Member for Mount Ommaney in 1992[6] Wendy Richardson (Barron River) won the primary vote as the LNP candidate for Barron River in 2009 but lost on preferences[7] Andrea Johanson (Albert) had been an LNP candidate for Albert.
