Theophil Mitchell Prudden (July 7, 1849 – April 10, 1924) was an American pathologist, born in Middlebury, Connecticut.
[1] He became an assistant (1879) and was professor of pathology (1892-1909) in the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University.
In 1901, he was appointed as a director of the Rockefeller Institute for medical research.
He died of heart disease at his home in New York on April 10, 1924.
